Terms & Conditions

1. Object of the Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you ("Customer") and CurveCave Hotel ("Hotel"). They apply to the provision of hotel rooms for accommodation, and spaces for events such as banquets, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, and related services. Any terms of the Customer or third parties are not applicable. The basis of the agreement is the reservation/order confirmation or a signed offer confirmation.

2. Contract Formation
The contract is effective upon the Customer's written acceptance of the Hotel's offer. If acceptance is not received by the Hotel's set expiry date, the offer becomes invalid. In case of discrepancies, the contract prevails. Joint and several liability applies if the Customer uses an intermediary.

3. Services
The Hotel will provide services agreed upon with the Customer, who must pay the agreed or applicable rates. This includes third-party services arranged by the Hotel. Prices include VAT and may adjust for VAT changes. Rates are subject to increase if the event date is over twelve months from the contract conclusion. An advance payment or security deposit may be required as stipulated in the contract.

4. Cancellations
Unused rooms will be attempted to be rented out. The Customer may prove lesser loss, while the Hotel may prove greater loss. Cancellation charges are based on the date the Hotel receives the cancellation notice.

4.1 Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation, withdrawal, or date changes require the Hotel's written consent. Free cancellation is possible until a mutually agreed date. Specific cancellation fees apply based on the time before the event and whether a per-head price is agreed upon.

4.2 Changes by Customer
Agreed and definitive numbers of participants/rooms must be communicated in advance. Changes in numbers, times, or rooms may incur additional fees or necessitate room changes.

4.3 Cancellation by Hotel
The Hotel may cancel for justifiable reasons, including non-payment of deposits, false information by the Customer, events jeopardizing the Hotel's operations or reputation, or force majeure.

5. Payment Terms
Advance payments or deposits are stipulated in the contract. Full payment in advance is required for international Customers. Invoices are payable within 15 days of receipt. Interest may be charged on late payments.

6. Additional Provisions
6.1 Advertising and Decorations
Customer need written consent for advertising and decorations, which must comply with safety regulations.

6.2 No Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas.

6.3 Jurisdiction and Law
Swiss law governs this agreement. The place of jurisdiction is [Insert City].

6.4 SUISA and Noise Levels
The Customer must comply with copyright laws and maintain acceptable noise levels.

6.5 Lost Property
Lost property policies apply.

6.6 Outside Food/Drinks
Bringing external food or drinks is generally prohibited, barring written agreement.

6.7 Extraordinary Service Costs
Charges may apply for services extending past midnight or for special arrangements.

6.8 Insurance and Liability
The Customer is responsible for event insurance. The Hotel is not liable for loss or damage to personal or event-related items unless due to gross negligence.

6.9 Technical Equipment
The customer's use of personal electrical equipment requires the Hotel's consent.

7. Liability
The Customer is liable for damages caused by them or their participants. The Hotel is not responsible for guests' personal belongings unless due to gross negligence.

8. Final Provisions
The invalidity of any provision does not affect the remainder of the Terms. Changes to these Terms require a written agreement.
